1. About the service
EASY TRIP SPLIT helps groups record travel expenses and calculate suggested settlements. The service is a record-keeping and calculation tool. It does not transfer money between travelers and does not provide financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account information, keep your login details secure, and be legally able to enter into a contract in your country. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
3. Free access, trials, and paid plans
The free plan may limit travelers, projects, storage, exports, collaboration, or other features. New accounts may receive a 14-day trial. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until canceled. Lifetime access is a one-time purchase covering the core features identified on the pricing page at the time of purchase. High-cost AI services, additional storage, and paid third-party services may be offered separately.
Prices, taxes, billing intervals, and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Payments are processed by Paddle. You may cancel a subscription using the method provided in your Paddle receipt or customer communication, or by contacting support before the next renewal date.
4. Your trips and content
You retain ownership of the names, expenses, receipt images, and other content you enter. You give EASY TRIP SPLIT permission to store and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the service. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
5. Shared trips
When you invite someone to a trip, authorized participants may view or change shared trip data. Check invitations carefully. You are responsible for deciding who receives access and for resolving disagreements within your group.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt its operation, upload malicious material, reverse engineer protected components, or use it for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
7. Calculations and availability
We aim to provide accurate calculations, but you should review the underlying expenses and settlement before making a payment. The service may occasionally be unavailable or changed for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons. Back up information that is important to you.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or address a material breach of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, EASY TRIP SPLIT is provided without guarantees beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. Bonnie Guan is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or losses caused by inaccurate user entries, group disputes, or reliance on an unreviewed settlement. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
10. Changes and governing rules
These terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. Applicable mandatory consumer laws continue to apply regardless of these terms.
